Installation Setup of Drivers in Windows

Some users cannot install automatically “Virtual MPE Decoder Adapter” with the help of installer IP DATA.

OS Windows has three fixed modes of installation of unregistered drivers: "Install", "Ask", "Don’t install". When Windows XP is being upgraded from SP2 to SP3 some assemblies of the third service-pack WinXP transfers Windows in the mode "Don’t install".

Before IP DATA installation it is required to switch Windows XP SP3 to the mode " Ask ". It can be done manually in Windows setup. User application (including IP DATA installer) cannot change this setup of OS.

To switch OS Windows to the mode "Ask" it is required to do the following: "Start" - > "Control panel" -> "System" -> "Tab Equipment" -> "Key Drivers registration"

It is necessary to choose the second variant:" Prevent – every time offer selection of action ". Then press the key "OK".

Notes

1. Driver “Virtual MPE Decoder Adapter” IS NOT INSTALLED AUTOMATICALLY in non-official pirate assemblies of OS Windows. In non-official assemblies of Windows some libraries that are in charge of automatic installation of are absent. Application of setup :" Prevent – every time offer selection of action " cannot assist with automatic setup of «Virtual MPE Decoder Adapter» by means of installer IP DATA in such non-official assemblies of OS Windows.

2. PTG strongly recommends using the official assembly of OS Windows XP SP2/SP3 at your PC for work with satellite Internet and TV.

3. OS Windows Vista and OS Windows 7 can be used at PC for work with satellite TV only with limitations. The limitations are connected to work with decoder h.264 for HDTV.
